“Service” and “Engagement” are the two words that come to my mind regarding Abbey Pascoe.  In the five years that I have known Abbey, it is obvious that she cares deeply about our community, evidenced through her service as member and President of the Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund, and representative on the City Council.  Not only does Abbey share her time and talents, but she is willing to listen to those she serves.  Her open-minded and creative solution-seeking approach is a refreshing way to deal with the complex problems and issues that Waverly faces.  I support Abbey Pascoe’s candidacy for Mayor.

Abbey is one of the most dedicated people I have ever worked with. She was very attentive to the needs of our public safety agency and always made sure that we knew about state-of-the-art technology in our field. She knows her industry and is always looking to help improve the safety of our first responders through collaboration.

Over the past couple of years, I have had the opportunity to get to know Abbey Pascoe on several different levels. I would describe her as compassionate, innovative, strong, and knowledgeable. While working with her on the Economic Development Committee for the City of Waverly, I witnessed her desire to see progress and growth in our community. She appears capable of taking on challenges and thinking outside the box when searching for solutions. I appreciate her fresh ideas. As a local, small business owner, it is apparent that she values the need for businesses such as mine in Waverly and understands the support we require to thrive in our community. I fully support Abbey Pascoe as a candidate for mayor of Waverly and believe she can bring change and solutions where needed most. 

I worked with Abbey on the Fund Advisory Committee of the Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund. Our biggest project was the Waverly Aquatic Center. She was an invaluable participant in that project and showed lots of energy and organizational talent to help bring the project to completion. I have also worked with Abbey in the beginning stages of creating an economic development plan for the City of Waverly. It’s in that work that her value to the community really shone. Abbey has a vision for Waverly’s future development that encompasses economic development, the needs and desires of current residents of Waverly, and what our future needs will be. She is a great leader for Waverly already, and I look forward to seeing what more she can do.
