Hi, I'm glad you're here. Before Waverly was home, it was Clarks, Nebraska, where I grew up as the oldest of three and where my parents still live. In 2015, my husband, Nick, and I moved to Waverly. We weren't born here, but we chose Waverly, and it's the community our two boys will call their hometown.

I joined the Waverly City Council in 2020 and served two years as council president before being elected Mayor in 2024. My focus has always been collaboration: bringing the right people to the table and making city government more open and responsive. You can see what we've accomplished together on the Progress page.

I also served four years as president of the Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund, which raises money for community projects that taxes and developer fees can't fully cover. Our biggest effort was the $6.4 million Waverly Aquatic Center, which opened on July 4, 2023.

Professionally, I'm a Senior Marketing Manager at Verizon Business Group, focused on the public sector and global enterprise. I earned my MBA in 2025.

I believe in showing up and getting involved. I founded the Waverly Economic Development Corporation, brought local business leaders on board to run it, and remain a member today. I'm also a District 145 Foundation for Education scholarship reviewer, a former Built by Girls advisor, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Serving as Mayor is a part-time role, so like many Waverly families, I'm balancing a full-time job with two very busy boys. When I do find a free moment, you'll find me with a good book, working in our yard, or on the road showing our boys how beautiful this country is.
