Thank you, Kent Heermann

At the May 12 City Council meeting, I had the privilege of recognizing Kent Heermann for his contributions to Waverly.

As April came to a close, so did the City of Waverly's contract with Kent, the first Economic Development Coordinator the city has ever hired. Over the past 16 months, Kent's expertise and guidance have been nothing short of transformative. Most notably, his work laid the foundation for the Waverly Economic Development Corporation, a milestone that positions our community for meaningful and sustainable growth for years to come.

We are deeply grateful for Kent's dedication to Waverly and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
