Investing in Waverly, responsibly

The City Council has approved Waverly's 2026-27 budget, and it holds spending to standard growth, with no special property-tax hearing needed.

Even while keeping growth in check, this budget moves our biggest priorities forward: the new fire station, street improvements, water and wastewater repairs, a parks master plan, and planning for a public works facility that fits our growing city. It also continues to pay down debt, with bond payments set to phase out as we build reserves for future projects.
