Waverly is growing

Waverly is one of Nebraska's fastest-growing communities, and we're planning for that growth carefully. At our May 13 meeting, the City Council moved forward on several projects that will shape Waverly for years to come:

• Waverly Ridge Estates: a new residential neighborhood expected to add about 500 homes at completion

• Anderson North Park 10th Addition: more new homes, with the final plat and a subdivision agreement approved

• Highway 6 corridor: properties rezoned for commercial use to make room for new businesses, restaurants, and services closer to home

Growth only works when it's planned well. That's why we're also investing in the water, streets, and public safety services a bigger Waverly will need, while protecting the small-town character that makes this a great place to live.
